The new generation of Keenetic routers offers features such as Internet connection redundancy, accelerated tunneling protocols, online updates and component-wise assembly of the operating system. Dozens of new software features and improvements are released every year: a mobile application, own cloud platforms and a domain name service are created. Keenetic became the first devices in the world to integrate Internet filters. Among other Internet filters, AdGuard ad blocker, Cloudflare DNS are also available. Keenetic routers also support installing thousands of Entware and Debian packages out of the box.

In addition to the generally accepted security mechanisms, Keenetic has added support for the new WPA3-PSK, OWE, WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise and WPA3-192 Enterprise security algorithms for the Wi-Fi wireless network. All Keenetic models implement both VPN clients/servers for secure access (PPTP, L2TP over IPSec, IKEv2, Wireguard, OpenVPN, SSTP) and for network tunneling (Site-to-Site IPSec, EoIP (Ethernet over IP) , GRE, IPIP (IP over IP)).

Recently, Keenetic multi-port Gigabit models, devices with built-in LTE modems, and Wi-Fi 6 devices supporting the IEEE 802.11 ax standard are also available.
